虎屋 京都一條店
傳承500年日本皇室的御用製菓店
原為「禁裡」的皇室御用菓子，自從將和菓子獻給後陽成天皇獲得皇室好評後、虎屋菓寮就成為日本皇室的御用製菓店。 《禁裡意思是：只有皇室可以用一般民間百姓不可使用。》也此虎屋本店在京都有非常重要的意涵，虎屋菓寮是京都的發源地。
室內保留京都傳統町家風建築體，虎屋的建築室內設計師 內藤廣，現今已經是虎屋各店的設計師。
“Located near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, Toraya Karyo Kyoto Ichijo Shop is where Toraya has long served as a purveyor to the Imperial court.
It is known that Toraya has been operating in this place at least since 1628. At Toraya Karyo, visitors can enjoy Toraya’s confections while viewing the beautiful garden that shows different expressions every season as well as the traditional architectures of an Inari Shrine and a storehouse from Edo period.
There is also a collection of about 600 books on Japanese culture free for visitors to take a look.
Exhibitions and lectures on Kyoto are occasionally held in the adjoining Toraya Kyoto Gallery.”
